About the exhibition
A virtual atelier devoted to the visual legacy of John Singer Sargent. Its exhibitions present newly made, clearly attributed studies rather than replicas: cosmopolitan portraiture, fluent plein-air observation, luminous fabric, and the charged interval between a sitter's public pose and private character.
