A human face dissolves into streams of data — pixels, binary code, colour compression artefacts rendered in oil paint with uncanny precision. Ben-Ami spent three months teaching himself to paint digital glitch aesthetics by hand, creating a work that asks whether there is any meaningful difference between a face remembered and a face stored.
