Maria Sibylle Werner · 1712

Medium
Watercolour and gouache on vellum
Dimensions
42 × 34 cm

Werner spent six months in the Netherlands studying the Rosa centifolia at the peak of its bloom, making thirty preliminary studies before this final sheet.
